I'm ready to blow this Popsicle stand!
I will be leaving for Ghana, Africa in less than 48 hours and I am more than ready to let this trip change me. I'll be traveling with some friends from the Honors College. For the next four weeks, we will be sight seeing and volunteering throughout the country of Ghana. We'll be doing a little bit of everything from working at an orphanage, helping with HIV/AIDS awareness, building medical centers and homes, and truly connecting to the Ghanaians that we meet.
It all started as a dream but after months and months of planning this dream is finally coming to fruition. I know that this trip will inspire me to create more music. I hope that through this trip and through my music I will inspire others to get out there and help others too.
I'll definitely be working on my lyrics and music while I'm abroad. I'm bringing my guitar with me so I can share my music with the people I meet. & I'm sure they'll teach me a little something something!
And once I return to America, it's straight to the studio so don't worry!
